Trekking to the Lares Valley

Day 01 :

• We will depart from Cusco at about 7:00 am towards the Calca province, located to the north of the Cusco city at 49 km from it . At Approximately 1 km down is located Huaraz at a height of 2840 m.a.s.l. place in which we will meet our carriers and porters, after this continuing with our walk we will get in touch with the nature, we will be able to appreciate a biodiversity of flora and fauna typical of the region. Lunch in Sumacpampa. After taking a rest at 3800 masl we will go on towards our first camp (in Cancha Cancha ) time for tee and Dinner.

Day 02 :

• Breakfast at 6:30 a.m. After this we will start our walk towards the Pachacutec passage at 4458 masl The highest point of our trip. We will start to descend and on the way we will be able to observe a lagoon and a 30 mts Waterfall. We will take lunch in this place, then we will go towards the Kishuarani camp at 3700 masl. On the way we will be able to apreciate beautifull birds like the Huallatas, lagoon ducks and we will have a Panoramic view from the Pachacutec passage. Overnight here.

Day 03 :

• After a repairing rest and a delicious breakfasat at 7:00 in the morning we will go on till our next stop: the place for having lunch in Queuñaqocha, where a beautiful landscape appears in front of us. In this route is very usual to see the Vizcachas, the turquoise lagoons lodge Pejerreyes and trouts , then we will arrive to our camp in Cuncani at 3750 masl by crossing the seconde passage. Time for tee, dinner and Overnight.

Day 04 :

• Breakfast , we will start our descent to the medicinal hotsprings of Lares at a 40ºc. There we will enjoy a bath and a repairing rest, then we will go back to Cusco.
