Ascent to the Snowcovered Chachani

ITINERARY

FIRST DAY: Arequipa- Base Camp (5200 m.a.s.l.)

• Pick up from the, departure from Arequipa city at 8.00 a.m. By Cabrerias Via, in a private transport 4x4, we will pass by the Salinas and Aguada Blanca Reservation (Pampa Cañahuas), there stops our transportation, from here on the ascent starts till reaching 5,200 m.a.s.l. Here we will have our base camp. During the trip we will take a box lunch besides we will appreciate some geological formations. The guide will prepare the dinner and the overnight.

SECOND DAY : Camp - Summit - Arequipa

• Breakfast, ascent to the summit (6075 m.a.s.l.) at about 4.30 a.m.it will take about six hours.
• At 10.30 the morning we will descend to the base camp for two hours and 30 min from the base camp to the transport 30 min and we will be arriving to Arequipa city at about 17:00 hours, transfer to the hotel.

OUR PROGRAM INCLUDES :
