Ascent to the Ampato Snowcovered ( 2 days / 1 night ) (6075 m.a.s.l.)

ITINERARY

FIRST DAY: Arequipa- Base Camp (5200 m.a.s.l.)

• Pick up from the hotel , depart from the Arequipa city at about 8 in the morning by Via Cabrerias in a private transport 4x4, passing by the Salinas Reservation and Aguada Blanca (Pampa Cañahuas),here stops the transport ans starts the ascent to the 5,200 m.a.s.l. Here we will have our Base camp. During the trip we will take a box lunch we will appreciate also some geological formations. The guide will prepare the dinner and the overnight.

SECOND DAY: Camp - Summit - Arequipa

• Breakfast, ascent to the summit (6075 m.a.s.l.) at 4.30 a.m. for about 6 hours.
• At 10:30 we will descend to the base camp for about 2 hours and 30 min, from the base camp to the transport 30 min and we will be arriving to Arequipa at about 17.00 hours, transfer to the hotel.

OUR PROGRAM INCLUDES :
